In this section I will show how I went about choosing how to layout my designs for the final finished ideas section. In each of the images I have shown the different ideas I had for the layout. I will also explain why I chose the final layouts.
The Front of the Shirts/Hoodies
![pixlr_20200610124218713.jpg](https://static.wixstatic.com/media/b07a77_ca9586d2406546a78669f9c11e66b22f~mv2.jpg/v1/fill/w_393,h_393,al_c,q_80,usm_0.66_1.00_0.01,enc_avif,quality_auto/pixlr_20200610124218713.jpg)
For the front of the shirt, I wanted to achieve a clean look, a logo placement that would make the brand look more professional. As the final logo placement, I have chosen the top left design, as I feel like it is not big and tacky, and naturally I feel that logos to the top right look more appealing than top left
The Back prints
![pixlr_20200610124328089.jpg](https://static.wixstatic.com/media/b07a77_4654d38bb8c04b90b3be2e731b6f058a~mv2.jpg/v1/fill/w_368,h_368,al_c,q_80,usm_0.66_1.00_0.01,enc_avif,quality_auto/pixlr_20200610124328089.jpg)
With this design, I tried out a few different placements, duplicating, small and big, and decided that the top left was best. This is because it's a big square design, and has quite a lot of detail within the image, therefore it can be best appreciated when it's big on the back.
![pixlr_20200610124137784.jpg](https://static.wixstatic.com/media/b07a77_943fa86270ed4c1c838727f38076fe0f~mv2.jpg/v1/fill/w_368,h_368,al_c,q_80,usm_0.66_1.00_0.01,enc_avif,quality_auto/pixlr_20200610124137784.jpg)
This design has no background, therefore it allows it to be joined up against itself, like a mirror. I decided that hiding the edge of the design by duplicating and stitching them back to back. I liked this the most in the top right image.
![pixlr_20200610124254471.jpg](https://static.wixstatic.com/media/b07a77_977bd64517134b658c34bfd04d8853fb~mv2.jpg/v1/fill/w_368,h_368,al_c,q_80,usm_0.66_1.00_0.01,enc_avif,quality_auto/pixlr_20200610124254471.jpg)
This design is another that is defined by a frame. This time it's a rectangle, and I tried re arranging it in different formations, but I found that to me, it looked best as a big print on the back, rather than overlapping or being duplicated
![pixlr_20200610124359808.jpg](https://static.wixstatic.com/media/b07a77_4f52eedbd78142ef9c7da088e1690261~mv2.jpg/v1/fill/w_368,h_368,al_c,q_80,usm_0.66_1.00_0.01,enc_avif,quality_auto/pixlr_20200610124359808.jpg)
With this one I intended to make it look as sharp as possible, and I wasn't sure if it would look better as just one big print, or multiple on the shirt. In the end I have decided that a singular print looks best and shows off the design best.
![pixlr_20200610124428608.jpg](https://static.wixstatic.com/media/b07a77_b233c9549ed8488b82ac6b09a639f3aa~mv2.jpg/v1/fill/w_368,h_368,al_c,q_80,usm_0.66_1.00_0.01,enc_avif,quality_auto/pixlr_20200610124428608.jpg)
This design was originally intended to be one by itself, but either way I wanted to experiment with how it would look duplicated/ overlapping. I decided that leaving it as its one designs was the best idea (top left).
![pixlr_20200610124459828.jpg](https://static.wixstatic.com/media/b07a77_3d221ea2c37a4126b4373c9271da3467~mv2.jpg/v1/fill/w_368,h_368,al_c,q_80,usm_0.66_1.00_0.01,enc_avif,quality_auto/pixlr_20200610124459828.jpg)
This design was a really quick sketch that I have decided to develop further. I tried it out in different orientations and overlapping, and decided that I like it both when it by itself and when it's overlapping (two top images)
![pixlr_20200610124518875.jpg](https://static.wixstatic.com/media/b07a77_fab89556efd0466db61077e562a8b68c~mv2.jpg/v1/fill/w_368,h_368,al_c,q_80,usm_0.66_1.00_0.01,enc_avif,quality_auto/pixlr_20200610124518875.jpg)
This design went through a lot of modifying within itself, and I decided to play around with the idea of duplicating it and assorting it. Similar to the previous design, I decided that I liked the overlapping method that's seen in the bottom left, as well as spacing it out in two opposing corners (bottom right).
