In this section I will be exploring the already existing brands in order to understand more how different street wear brands present themselves and what type of products they put out.
Santa Cruz
santa cruz has a very colourful website showcasing a wide range of products in a form of a huge gallery on the homepage. this makes it easy to see the wide range of all the different products they offer and makes the site eye catching. Their target audience is skaters which means that the website layout is meant to appeal to them
Their overall website look is eye catching, colourful and filled with many photos.
Off-White
off- white is a very high fashion brand which is popular within street wear. their website design is very simplistic, giving off an early 00's website vibe.
The reasoning behind a simple website may be that the target audience is nit there to be captured but rather because they already know what the brand is about and they only want to see the newest releases and don't need to be brought in by the nice aesthetic
Cult
Cult is a bmx brand that focuses on producing bmx bikes and components.
They are a very popular brand within the industry and therefore produce clothing too. thier site shows you their "soft goods" along with other products when you enter it and is laid out very simplisticly. Its easy to scroll through and have a look at all the products laid out next to eachother.
The overall look is very modern and simple, which makes it pleasing to look at and doesn't overwhelm you.
Nike
Nike has a very typical sportswear website look to it. it has nice photos to show off the products in motion. the website is very easy to navigate and makes looking at products simple.
They also have a skateboarding line which is very successful, which is why I think they fit the theme.
the animations within the website make it look really nice and intriguing, and make the user want to interacte with it more therefore bringing more traffic to all the different
